BART SIMPSON X BUTTERFINGER: 90'ISH ANNIVERSARY PROMOTION
I led this project in collaboration with Sean Millard, where we developed approximately 15 different layouts and illustrations for the candy bar artwork. In addition to the design, we also created the campaign concept for the marketing and promotion. Bart Simpson has been the spokesperson for Nestlé USA’s Butterfinger since 1988, made famous by his iconic slogans: “Nobody better lay a finger on my Butterfinger!” and “Bite my Butterfinger!” These limited-edition, Bart-themed bars will be available exclusively at select 7-Eleven stores while supplies last.
Note: The anniversary is referred to as the “90-ish” rather than the 90th, as even Nestlé could not confirm the exact year Butterfinger was first sold. However, available evidence suggests it was around 1923.
